Ballistics Test Summary
Equally part of our ongoing cocky-defense ammo testing project, we used Articulate Ballistics synthetic gelatin to evaluate the functioning of Remington 88 Grain. Five rounds were fired from a Glock 42 into the gel with a 4-layer cloth barrier to simulate an attacker wearing heavy clothing.
The summit image in the photo above shows the first round fired into the gel and the bottom photo displays all five rounds. Skilful Option When Others Neglect to Feed
I tried this round after FTF'southward with Gold Dots in my Glock 42. Two hundred rounds and flawless functioning so far. The bullet'southward rounded contour provides reliable feeding. Additionally, this round has been available for a long time with a respectable street tape for the quotient. No expansion but decent penetration, which is the big movie in a caliber of this size. Muzzle flash is slightly college than I would like, which resulted in the iv-Star Performance rating.

Works Well in Interarms PPK/S
Shot 50 rounds today with my PPK/S and it worked well. No FTF, decent shot groups. Didnt shoot as tight as my Hornady FTX but pretty darn shut. I'd say this ammo tin can hunt!

990fps, 191ftp Reliable, Accurate
Very satisfied. No FTFs, No flyers, and accurate from a Bersa Thunder Plus out to near 40 meters. All the same, they are lightweight and push the envelope for a self-defense round. The Thunder Plus has a xv-round magazine, plus one up the pipage. I suppose you could just shoot your attacker an extra five or half-dozen times, just to be sure. 8-)

Disappointed
My wife experienced several jams using these Remington HTP rounds in her Ruger LCP 380. We were very surprised since the pistol had shot flawlessly with other ammo such every bit Federal. The HTP is slightly longer in size and seemed to get hung up on ejecting the empty virtually every other shot. Tried iii dissimilar magazines. It was a cold day so not certain if that was a factor.
